Wage: $16.78 per hour as per Collective Agreement + 8% in lieu of Vacation, Benefits & Personal Emergency Leave.

Volunteer Coordinator Intern – 2 Year Contract
Shelter House is currently seeking a temporary full-time Volunteer Coordinator Intern. The Volunteer Coordinator Intern will collaborate with the administration and management team to develop goals and objectives for the volunteer programs that reflect the mission of Shelter House. The Volunteer Coordinator Intern will manage all aspects of the volunteers within the organization including recruitment and selection, volunteer relations, volunteer recognition, and retention. The Volunteer Coordinator Intern will be responsible for the facilitation of all the volunteer programs at Shelter House Thunder Bay.
The wage for this position is $16.83 per hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation and 3% in lieu of benefits.
- University or college graduate who has graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or university in human resources or human service sector
- The candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program
- The position will be first full-time employment in the candidate’s field of study
