SHELTER HOUSE NEEDS FOOD!! Shelter House is turning to the public and issuing a plea for food donations.
PRIORITY ITEMS INCLUDE:
• All Meat • Grocery Gift Cards • Margarine • Sugar • Salad Dressing • Pepper • Spaghetti Sauce • Relish • Canned Fruits & Vegetables • Canned Soup • Miracle WhipOTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:
- Invite friends to this event and put the link in your status
- Hold a food & fund drive at work
- Organize a door to door food drive in your neighbourhood
- Accept donations at your next event
This public call to action will be critical in sustaining our food program over the coming weeks while we weather a decline in donations over the summer months as warm weather and vacation draws public attention away from the plight of the less fortunate in our community.
All food donations can be dropped off 24hrs a day at Rotary Shelter House located at 420 George St. Thunder Bay ON.
