Patty Hajdu, Executive Director, Shelter House Thunder Bay
In my job as Executive Director at Shelter House I see first hand how dire poverty and lack of affordable housing severely affects people in our community. I am raising the rent because the services we offer at Shelter House are essential to the health and wellness of our community. With dedicated staff and hardworking volunteers we serve up to 700 meals a day, and create a clean, safe environment for 77 men, women and youth to lay their heads at night. Please help me Raise the Rent so Shelter House can continue to provide basics needs with dignity and respect to people in our community who need it most.
